Forza Horizon 6 Weekly Challenge and Festival Playlist
On this page
How does the Festival Playlist work?
The Festival Playlist is Forza Horizon 6's rotating set of weekly and monthly challenges. Forza.net's starting guide says it unlocks once you join the Festival, and you need the Yellow Wristband to access it. Events change each week, bringing new rewards.
Each series runs for four weeks, split into four seven-day seasons, so one real week is one in-game season. Series 1, Welcome to Japan, ran from May 21 to June 18, 2026. Guides disagree on the season order: one lists Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring, another Spring to Winter. Horizon Meets started with Summer on October 8.
When does the weekly challenge reset?
Every Thursday at 14:30 UTC. Forza.net's Series 6 post confirms the playlist began at 2:30 PM UTC on October 8. Until daylight saving ends, that is 7:30 AM PT, 10:30 AM ET and 3:30 PM in the UK. After October 25 in the UK and November 1 in the US, local times move an hour earlier.
At the reset, seasonal championships, PR stunt challenges, photo challenges and any treasure hunt are replaced, and part-finished weekly tasks are lost. Monthly Rivals and the series point total carry over across all four weeks. The in-game countdown is the final word if a reset ever moves.
How many points is each activity worth?
Point values below are one guide's breakdown (MitchCactus) and can vary week to week, so check the playlist. That guide estimates about 90 minutes to reach 40 points.
| Activity | Points |
|---|---|
| The Trial | 10 |
| Seasonal Championship | 5 each |
| Horizon Open / Playground Games | 5 each |
| Monthly Rivals | 4 |
| EventLab | 3 |
| PR Stunts | 2 each |
| Weekly Forzathon Challenge | 2 |
| Photo Challenge | 2 |
| Treasure Hunt | 2 to 3 (this week's Ito hunt pays 3) |

Does the season change the weather and time of day?
The playlist season changes with each weekly reset, and Red Bull notes that some mountain areas now keep snow-covered roads all year. Whether you can set the time of day freely outside Photo Mode is still to be confirmed, as none of the guides we checked document a time-of-day setting.
For what each series added beyond the playlist, see the Forza Horizon 6 update log.
